2025
Founders Award
In 2025, we were honored to receive the $30,000 Founders Award and reinvested it into local senior support initiatives. We awarded a $20,000 grant to United Arts of Wake County for their Arts in Communities program, bringing enriching arts experiences to senior care facilities, and a $10,000 grant to Resources for Seniors of Wake County to support their Emergency Fund, providing vital aid for urgent needs across Raleigh and Wake County.
Our office has been serving older adults and families in the Raleigh area for over 25 years. That longevity shows in the depth of our team — several care team members have been with Home Instead for 15, 18 or 19 years — and in the local relationships and trust we have built over time.
Our office employs approximately 250 Care Pros across our North Carolina service area. That scale means we can respond quickly and consistently, with backup coverage readily available when needs change or a Care Pro's availability shifts.
Dementia and Alzheimer's care are among our most practiced areas. We have a close working relationship with the Dementia Alliance of NC — a distinct organization from the Alzheimer's Association — and our teams know its leadership well. We sponsor the Dementia Alliance and participate in the Dementia Alliance Walk.
Personal care and memory care are the most common needs we serve in the Raleigh community, and Care Pros supporting clients with memory loss receive Home Instead's dementia-specific training on communication, behavior changes, sundowning and wandering prevention.
We participate in the Be a Santa to a Senior community-giving campaign every year, raising donations for isolated and in-need seniors at Christmastime. We also partner with Resources for Seniors of Wake County and actively support the Dementia Alliance of NC through sponsorship and participation.
