Recently Home Instead was an important part of my husband and my life when they provided in home health care for my husband. Two individual caregivers, Deana and Russ, were so caring, timely, cheerful, tender-hearted, knowledgeable, and always loving while caring for Jim. Thank you kindly for your daily involvement in our lives. You two are the best!

Home Instead has been great to work with! When I contacted them in January, 2024, they promptly responded to my request and set a meeting to determine our needs. After reviewing our needs, and considering my description of the ideal caregiver for my husband, they thought Derek would be a good fit. They were right! He has developed a good relationship with my husband and I know my husband is in good hands with Derek. Home Instead, and Derek, have helped me to weather the increasing care needs of my husband, who has Alzheimer’s Disease. They have truly been a blessing to me.

I was fortunate to find Home Instead to help me with care for my husband. A wonderful staff was helpful at all times and specifically Melissa who was here every week. She is so easy to communicate with, so generous in her aid and always with a sweet smile on her face. Lucky to have her!

Home Instead has provided not just care services for my mom, but also piece of mind that I have not had since my mom had her heart attack. Katrina comes to our home and becomes part of our family. She takes care of my mom in the way I would if I wasn’t juggling family and career. The resources Home Instead provides, like Sensi, just provide even more piece of mind for my family. I highly, highly recommend working with this amazing company and their equally amazing caregivers.

The Vancouver team also hears from families when an older adult becomes more isolated or when a spouse or adult child is carrying too much of the caregiving responsibility. A care consultation can help you sort through those changes.
