I am in a wheelchair and depend on my husband for everything. When we learned that he needed surgery, we knew we would need help 24/7 for at least a few days. We didn't know until late afternoon the day before when we needed to start service and didn't know how long we would need service because that would depend on the outcome of the surgery. I was relieved when we got home from the hospital to find our coordinator and caregiver on our front porch, ready to jump in. A few days before surgery, the caregivers had come to practice helping me to move so I think that made us all more comfortable when service began. Everyone from the nurse who performed the initial assessment to the coordinators to the care givers were kind and professional. We had never needed these services and were nervous to rely on them, but given the circumstances we had no choice. We were pleasantly surprised with how well everything worked and will definitely call Home Instead with any future needs.

I had an excellent experience with the Home Instead team in Chagrin Falls. We had caregivers come into our home three days a week and they worked closely with me to find the right fit. They understood our unique situation and found excellent caregivers. Special shoutouts to Naj, Manasse, and Jeremiah. While sometimes workers cancelled or quit, Paola and Nicole always had a replacement and were very communicative about the situation. I highly recommend them.

My mom in her 80s living in a different city than me acutely injured her leg and was having trouble getting around the house to bathe/sleep and to get to medical appointments. As soon as I found out, the next morning I called Home Instead and within a few hours they were able to come to my mom’s house to evaluate her, get her initial help, and set her up with a daily half day caregiver for the next week until she recovered. Not knowing how long the recovery would take, it was an immense relief to know that Home Instead could be there for as long as we needed them to be at a reasonable price for the difficulty of this work. They cleaned up, drove to appointments, helped make phone calls, and made suggestions to improve the safety of the house. All in all a great experience and they even shared updates and assessments/plans over email to keep us updated. Thank you Home Instead, including Henrietta the coordinator and the various caregivers who assisted us.

I have been using Home Instead since November 2024. I am very pleased with the help I have received from them, especially All Marie. She is always on time, very helpful with my wife and doesn't bring her personal problems to work like some of the others aids I have had. Thank you Home Instead.
