For Families

Wherever you may be in Virginia, there is a locally-owned office of Home Instead prepared to care for your aging loved one in his or her home.  With 20 office locations and an expansive service territory, our Virginia franchise owners work collaboratively to advocate for seniors and their families all over the Commonwealth.

For Professionals

  1. Speaking Engagements.  We regularly participate in professional conferences throughout Virginia, and we are prepared to speak to statewide or local groups interested in aging-related issues.  If you are interested in inviting a Home Instead owner to speak at your event, please contact the office closest to you.

  2. Partnerships.  We welcome the opportunity to partner with statewide organizations seeking to enhance care for the elderly throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Our broad network of 20 franchise offices gives us the capacity to execute programs and plans on a statewide basis, enabling us to jointly pursue objectives with our partners in an efficient and coordinated approach to senior care.

Health care providers and payers understand that an elderly patient’s wellness is significantly impacted by the support he or she receives at home.  Home Instead presents the opportunity to holistically supplement skilled medical services by adding support at home with things like medication reminders, nutrition, socialization, personal hygiene, and transportation to doctor appointments.  To begin a discussion about potential partnerships with Home Instead throughout Virginia, please contact the office closest to you.

  3. Continuing Education Units (CEUs).  From time to time, Home Instead offers online webinars and educational experiences that may be creditable as CEUs for certain healthcare professionals.  Information about upcoming CEU opportunities may be obtained by calling your local franchise office or visit our website CEU Webinar page.

For Communities

We understand that elderly people are better supported when communities are familiar with the challenges associated with aging and know how to respond to the needs of senior citizens.  For this reason, our franchisees throughout Virginia are willing to help in developing and promoting community programs designed to educate the public about senior care issues.  Please contact your local office to discuss community education ideas you may wish to share with us.

Help Him Remain Independent With Home Instead®

When family members or friends aren't able to help the older adults they love, Home Instead Care Professionals can. With a network of locations across Virginia, and worldwide, Home Instead is all about taking care of older family members long-term in the homes they've enjoyed and treasured. We provide a range of services including companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, shopping, errands—everything you'd do for your loved one, and more—to give you peace of mind, whether you live several states away or in the next county.

Inspired by a Personal Experience

It was Paul and Lori Hogan's own personal experience caring for their 100-year-old grandmother in her home that inspired them to launch Home Instead in 1994. They realized many families had the same need for non-medical in-home care and elder companionship that could help seniors live independently at home. The demand for these important services has been so great, that the company's network now has 800 locally owned franchises across North America and around the globe.

Reliable, Dependable Services Around-the-Clock

Our responsible, experienced Care Pros are members of the local community, familiar with the resources available in your area of Virginia. Home Instead services are available 24/7, every day of the year, including holidays, and are delivered by trusted Care Pros who are screened, bonded and insured employees—never independent contractors.

Free Consultation. Trusted Advice.

Your Home Instead representative can help you decide if our services could assist your loved one in preserving a good quality of life and remaining safely in his or her home. When you request home care a representative will contact you within 24 hours and you'll receive a free, no-obligation personal consultation.
