We’re always looking for caring people to join the Home Instead family in Birmingham. Our caregivers play a vital role in making a difference in the lives of seniors, and events like the UAB community resource and job fair give us the perfect chance to connect with those who share our passion.
This past week, we set up our Home Instead booth at the Citywide Resource, Health & Job Fair at the Birmingham Public Library. The event had a ton to offer for both employment and personal growth. There were health screenings like blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol checks and fun activities like arts and crafts. Attendees also gained valuable information on topics like financial literacy, legal assistance, and Medicare enrollment.
