Business Development Coordinator

Lincoln, NE

Objective:
The Business Development is responsible for growing, maintaining, and developing our social purpose program, social media websites, and referral partner relationships with the purpose of growing service hours. This position will also provide overall leadership for the client care and recruitment departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management of the client care and recruitment departments.

  • Responsible for assigning and directing work; appraising performance, coaching performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems for the client care department and recruitment coordinator.

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve quality of care and the overall client experience.

  • Improve our lead management and overall lead strategy from inquiry to start of service.

  • Overall responsibility for the client/family relationship with the office.

  • Conduct care consultations as needed.

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies with the recruitment coordinator.

  • Improve quality of candidates from application to first shift.

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager on overall business strategy and day-to-day operations.

  • Promote, organize, and manage all Social Purpose events.

  • Manage all relationships with community organizations, referring providers, and vendors.

  • Maintain all websites with fresh new content and regular updates.

  • Responsible for researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals.

  • Maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts, including follow-up, as necessary.

  • Analyze digital data for key indicators for website optimization.

  • Conduct audits on all owned, paid, and social media platforms.

  • Be the subject matter expert on all digital and online products.

  • Support the nurturing campaign for clients, referral providers, and Care Professionals.

  • As a member of the office leadership team, develop digital sales and marketing plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead brand ensuring consistent messaging across all digital platforms.

  • Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals through face-to-face cold calling on referral providers, email, telephone and Web.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

    Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

  • Must be able to work in the field and be insurable.
