Client Care Coordinator

Home Instead® is looking for an individual to join our Administrative team in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. The Client Care Coordinator manages quality assurance with one-on-one relationship building with our clients and CAREGivers. The Client Care Coordinator performs a variety of duties that relate to client care including client/caregivers' introductions, care consultations(meetings) with potential clients and family members, and quality assurance visits with existing clients.
Home Instead uses the consultative sales approach to determine each individual client’s needs to provide solutions and create a tailored care plan. We continuously evaluate our clients’ needs through ongoing communication and visits to ensure high-quality care, client satisfaction and retention and opportunities to increase service hours. We are looking for a motivated team player to work with clients and CAREGivers to provide both the best care possible and a strong work environment for all our employees.

Education/Experience:

  • 2–3-year experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry required, an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Preferred: Can navigate windows easily and learn innovative programs quickly. Must be self-sufficient in handling complex computing tasks.
  • Preferred: Excellent driving record and background record.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company’s policies and procedures and standards/regulations are followed.
  • Create and maintain client care plans daily with an emphasis on creating high quality care plans and developing extraordinary relationships with client and family members.
  • Meet with potential clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions.
  • Be present at the first shift for each client to update their care plan and assure understanding from both the client and care pro.
  • Train and develop care pros in proper caregiving practices and equipment.
  • Provide leadership.
  • Give encouragement, support, and recognition needed for the care pro whose position involves responsibility, and often, emotion strain.
  • Field Care Pro calls about client needs and or concerns and provides consistent follow-up and follow-through.
  • Work with other team members to coordinate various aspects of client’s care.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with clients, family members, the franchise owner, colleagues and care pros, and referral providers/care providers.
  • Excellent Customer Service: You genuinely believe the customer is always right and will take all measures to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Fast, efficient, and creative in solving problems relating to people and logistics.
  • Must be extremely flexible and able to “go with the flow” or change direction in a very fast changing environment.
  • Daily planning and prioritizing client and office needs using fluid and detailed organizational skills.
  • Daily driving to and from clients’ homes and the office
