Weekend Caregivers - Marin County

At Home Instead, we're on a mission to enhance the lives of aging adults in our community, and we're looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team of dedicated care professionals. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and navigate the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.

We offer a range of shifts and hours to meet the needs of our clients, and we are currently seeking dedicated Caregivers available to work weekends. Whether you prefer short or long hours, we have shifts available in Marin County to fit your schedule.

Responsibilities:
As a Home Instead Care Professional, your duties include:

  • Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations with seniors
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Assisting with medication reminders and appointment scheduling
  • Supporting seniors with grooming, bathing, toileting, and managing incontinence issues
  • Specializing in Alzheimer's care

Key Qualities we seek include:

  • Ability to treat seniors and their belongings with dignity and respect
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Completion of a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (preferred)
Requirements:
No prior experience is necessary as Home Instead provides comprehensive skills training.
Candidates must complete registration on the Home Care Aide Registry, pass fingerprint clearance, obtain TB clearance, and undergo drug testing before employment.

Compensation Range:
We offer competitive hourly rates ranging from $16.00 to $20.50. For 24-hour shifts, earn between $16.00 and $16.60 per hour, totaling $453 to $544 per day depending on shift frequency and start times.
