May Care Professional of the Month: Margie C
Margie joined our team in February of 2023 and found us at the conclusion of a 10-year position caring for a blind gentleman. She is self-described as reliable and trustworthy; qualities of which she is very proud. How do we at Home Instead describe Margie?? It is hard to fit it into one paragraph, but first off, as one Care Manager put it, “She genuinely cares about each of her clients. She meticulously tailors her care to meet their specific needs whether it’s managing their diet, attending to their personal care preferences, or ensuring their home is cleaned and organized just the way they like it. She is loved by her clients and their families as well!” Additionally, another Care Manager who is familiar with Margie’s caregiving, expressed that she can recall what an excellent job Margie did caring for a rather challenging client who began to exhibit difficult behaviors as his dementia progressed, saying, “She understands her clients and meets them wherever they are with a patient, calm, and caring demeanor.” Finally, a long-time client of Margie’s says that she has come up with some truly unique solutions and answers to making life for a homebound person safer, AND they both attended the University of Colorado Boulder, so they cheer on the Buffs together! We want to cheer you on Margie for being amazing at what you do! We are so grateful and proud to have you on our team!
