A couple of our Home Instead caregivers and our Senior Day Program attended The "Build Your Own Herb Garden" event hosted by the Council On Aging of Norwell, MA. Our Senior Day Program's field trips are fantastic opportunities for seniors to get out, explore, and engage with the community!
The "Build Your Own Herb Garden" event was delightful. Local gardeners from North River Gardeners generously donated herbs and flowers, adding a wonderful sense of community spirit. This not only allows seniors to learn about gardening and enjoy the beautiful scents of the herbs and flowers but also helps to strengthen connections between different generations and create a feeling of belonging within the community.
