We at Home Instead of Melville, NY, had a blast at the Cona Elder Law’s 2024 Caregiver Conference at the Hilton Long Island in Melville. This event provided the perfect opportunity for us to connect with caregivers and discuss home care.
The conference was a free event focused on "The Loneliness Epidemic: Tackling Isolation, Care Needs & Finances In Senior Living." Attendees enjoyed food and beverages while exploring senior living options. The discussions delved into the key differences between assisted living, independent living, continuing care retirement communities, the ALP program, and the CDPAP program.
