Key Responsibilities

Companionship & Engagement:

• Build meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship.
• Engage in enjoyable activities such as games, reading, or exercise.

Home Helper Services:

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (e.g., vacuuming, dusting, laundry).
• Help with meal planning and preparation.
• Run errands and handle grocery shopping.

Personal Care Services:

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers.
• Offer medication reminders.

Client Support:

• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or needs.
• Keep accurate records of services provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Home Instead team.

Caregiver Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful toward seniors.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Must pass background checks, DMV checks, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license, Social Security card, and auto insurance required.
• Prior experience in caregiving is beneficial, but not required.
