Duties and Responsibilities of a Care Professional:
Drive to the client's home to provide: Help around the house, laundry and meal preparation; Incidental transportation to and from appointments, errands and activities; Some clients need medication assistance and personal care (hands on help); Assisting client with dementia/Alzheimer’s (specific training provided).

Care Pro Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Idaho resident 18 years and older with
  2. reliable transportation.
  3. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  4. Able to lift 25lbs.
  5. Able to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect;
  6. Able to work with clients receiving Hospice care or at end-of-life;
  7. Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner;
  8. Pass nationwide background check, DMV check and drug screen;
  9. Possess a valid driver’s license, social security card and valid auto insurance with reliable transportation;
  10. Must be available a minimum of 20 hours each week and work a Minimum of 10hrs weekly.
  11. Must attend in-person Orientation Training (Usually held M-W, every other week)
*No previous experience necessary - PAID classroom-based skills training provided by Home Instead*
