General Manager - Home Health Agency for Seniors

Home Instead has over 30 years of experience in senior care, with more than 1,500 offices worldwide. We are renowned for being the most reliable in-home care provider for seniors, particularly those suffering from various dementias such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. We are not a facility; our Aides provide non-skilled, non-medical care for our clients in their own home.

Candidates with strong Agency home care experience in HR, Scheduling, Business Development, Client Services are great candidates! Plus:
- A genuine interest for the elderly and their well-being. Without this critical piece, a candidate will struggle with the daily stresses of the role.
- Excellent references from past employers
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and be independent, taking accountability for hitting all KPIs and targets (as well as managing those successfully for your team)
- A firm understanding of financials including P&L, revenue levers, and cost structures
-Solid HR background
-Strategic mindset to create and execute new business development plans and targets/goals
-Advanced technology skills (as we run a digital office)

What is our environment like?
Our Agency is small ((5 management team members) but growing; the successful candidate will have just the right amount of experience to understand Agency operations and management, but will be excited and energized by growing the business via new business development activities.

Your Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the daily operations of the agency, meeting financial and service goals as determined by the agency Owner
- Supervise human resources, recruiting, client services, and the sales team, including their targets and KPIs
- Build and manage new business development initiatives with medical providers in Palm Beach County. This role will require time spent in new business development activities.

Job Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business or health care; a Bachelor's degree with pertinent work experience is also acceptable
- Proficient in advanced technologies
- Skilled in managing people and teams effectively to hit and exceed targets
- Growth-minded with a focus on sales, expenses, and all financial metrics
- Knowledgeable about business and employment regulations (AHCA, wage and hour, Dept of Labor, etc.)
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Professional in both appearance and conduct
