Senior Caregiver for Dementia Client

Seeking experienced and trained home health aide for dementia/Alzheimer's client; Delray Beach/Boynton Beach location. Full time or part time with benefits. and bonuses.

Candidates must show significant specialized training and experience with dementia clients. Reliability is critical as client cannot be left alone.

A typical day:

• bathing and dressing for the day
• accompany her to meals inside/outside her residence. No cooking is necessary. You must have a vehicle and auto insurance/drivers license
• transport client to lunches regularly, as well as art shows, movies, shopping and other activities to keep her engaged in the community
• you must be a fantastic communicator, with an energetic personality and a big sense of humor
• client requires constant talking and engagement which she enjoys
• client is fully mobile and participates in outside events daily; you must be agile and able to keep up
• role will entail continual engagement in specialized activities (which you design) throughout the day to stimulate the client's mind and keep her active

Day shifts (1/2 days or full days available)

What We Offer:

• 3-part compensation package: base pay, unlimited bonus programs, benefit package
• If hired, you will become an employee. We pay/file your payroll taxes for you and you get a W2 tax return.
• Earn 1.5 times your pay rate for working overtime and holidays.

Job Requirements:

• RN, LPN, HHA, PCA, CNA or other certifications preferred (other experience considered)
• Proven history of being dependable and on-time
• Patient, kind, and uses good judgment.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Fluency in English – mandatory (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Successfully pass criminal, drug and driving background checks
• A strong history of caring for dementia clientele and designing daily activities
