Maritza is from Honduras and now has 3 years of experience in caregiving! She likes to make her clients feel comfortable and safe. She loves how sweet her clients are and that she can continue to allow them to stay in their own homes on their terms.

Jeny R. --Care Professional of the Month January 2024

Jeny first worked at Home Instead as a Care Professional in 2017. She left for a short time but missed her clients so much she returned in mid 2023! She is a newlywed of 2 years and also works as a translator. She enjoys helping her clients and is committed to making sure they are well taken care of.

Lisa has been with Home Instead since April 2023. She is a hard worker, committed to her clients and loves to help out with new clients! Lisa has 3 kids that keep her very busy. She likes to read and complete puzzles in her free time.

Sawyer joined our team In June of 2023. She wants to be a nurse someday! Sawyer and her boyfriend like to travel to Florida for fun in the sun! They also love to watch football. Her advice to other Care Professionals is to treat your clients as you would want to be treated! ❤️

On 10/19/2023 Sally hit a huge milestone! She has been working for our Home Instead of Northern Kentucky for 16 years! WOW! She has worked a total of 33,000 hours in her time! That is on average 40 hours a week every week for 16 years! Sally started working in home health in 1997 and has amassed a total of 27 years of experience! Sally also cared for her mom for 8 years prior to that. 😍 Sally has 2 children & 3 grandchildren. Sally always says you have to have a heart for this business!

Barbara S. --Care Professional of the Month September 2023

Barbara joined our Home Instead Team as a Care Professional one year ago, but has been a caregiver for many years! She reconnected with her first love and has been married to him for 2 years now. They have a cat named Salem and recently lost their beloved dog. Barbara is very active! She volunteers with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, is the president of the Boone County Water Rescue Association, in the honor guard & crew member of the BCWR. She also enjoys competing in Pageants for those 50+ and has 47 titles! Barbara's advice to new Care Professionals is to stay patient, listen to your clients and let them voice their concerns, this helps them know you care.

Ashleigh H.--Care Professional of the Month August 2023

Ashleigh joined our Home Instead Team in early 2023. She wanted to be a Care Professional because she has grandparents on each side of her family that have had dementia. She wants to care for others like she did for her grandparents. She was recently married, has 2 cats, loves to hang out with family, play cards, go fishing and hiking. Her advice to other Care Professional's would be to always smile, be kind, be patient and do not take anything personally! Her moto is to treat others as you would want to be treated.

Debbie has been with Home Instead 7 years now! She is drawn to helping seniors. She does an amazing job with her clients and loves to help people and is drawn to seniors. Debbie has 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 1 dog. She loves to spend time with her family. Her advice to other Care Professionals is to always be kind, considerate and helpful to your clients. You never know when you may be the one receiving care!

Jessica has been with us several months now and enjoys meeting new clients and hearing their stories. She cared for her parents and that is what led her to being a Care Professional. She has a 3rd generation military family that she is very proud of. She has 2 sons, a daughter, 2 cats and a dog. Her favorite super hero would be Thor! She likes that Thor is funny & witty without realizing he is. 🤣 Her advice to new hires and other Care Professionals is to not stress out, take a step back, collect yourself and move forward. This helps her stay positive and engaged with her clients every day.

Rachel has been a caregiver for 20 years, she has worked in facilities, hospitals and in home care. Her favorite is in home care where she can be one on one with her clients and their families to build those lasting relationships. Her one piece of advice to other Care Professionals is the best way to learn is to keep practicing and the longer you practice, the better you will get at it. She loves to be outdoors, ride bikes and to spend time with her family.

Aimee joined our team 7 months ago and has loved working here with all her clients! She was a family caregiver prior to coming to Home Instead and feels like fate brought her to us. She loves the support she receives from the office. Aimee's advice to other Care Professional's is to not get frustrated, it takes time to get adjusted to new clients, just listen, observe and it all works out great! Aimee and her children love going to church and being involved in community activities with their church. They have a dog named Athena and love to go the park and play games.

Michelle B Care Professional of the Month

Michelle B. --Care Professional of the Month March 2023

Meet Michelle B. she has been with Home Instead a little over 3 years now and has become one of our Care Pro Mentors this year! She loves helping other Care Professionals get started and following them until they get orientated. She helps lead our training team and teaches hands on techniques on how to best assist our clients. In her experiences with Home Instead, she has worked in some of the most difficult situations along her journey and always comes out of it making everyone smile. Michelle enjoys skateboarding, spending time with her grandkids, and giving out food & clothing to the homeless.
