Eric Cropped 2

Eric Schuermann, Owner and Operator

"Home Instead is personal to me because I believe one of the most important responsibilities we have is to care for seniors at such a difficult time in their lives. Our goal is to assist our clients to live productive lives in the comfort of their own homes. We do this by building trust and becoming personally invested in the happiness and well-being of our clients."

Eric has been a proud owner of the Home Instead office serving Northern Kentucky since 2014.  Eric is a lifelong resident of this area and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Indiana University.  His mission is to help seniors in Northern Kentucky to live active lives in the comfort of their own homes. He believes that our Caregivers are the lifeblood of our company, and appreciates the selfless work that they do when caring for our clients.

Schuermann Arli

Arli Eiseman Schuermann, Accounting Department

"Home Instead is personal to me because the assistance by caregivers allowed my grandmother to remain in her home during the final days of her life. It also allowed my mother and the rest of our family to spend quality time with my grandmother and feel comforted that she was receiving quality care. My husband and I want to provide that same level of comfort to other families in our community."

Arli grew up in Lakeside Park, KY and earned her degree from Indiana University. She has worked for many years in the Commercial Real Estate market in Northern Kentucky and across the country. Arli runs the accounting for Home Instead and is excited to be able to provide care for our seniors in the community! Eric and Arli also have a daughter, Anna Kay.

Campbell Patty

Patty Campbell, Human Resources Manager

"Home Instead is personal to me because I have been in the shoes of those who are caring for their parents and grandparents. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and my mother lost her independence at a young age, due to her failing health and eyesight. I wish I had the resource of a company like Home Instead to help me through those difficult situations. I am so grateful to be able to help other families cope easier with their aging parents, working here at Home Instead."

Patty has worked at Home Instead since 2015.  After several years as Staffing Manager, Patty transitioned to her current Human Resources Manager role in 2019. Patty enjoys being able to use community resources to find the perfect candidates to become Caregivers for Seniors. The most important thing to Patty is the quality of the person who will help strengthen the senior community, as well as coming up with new ways and ideas to show Caregivers how important they are to the Senior community. Patty lives in Florence with her husband Tommy. She volunteers regularly in outreach projects at her church and loves to help others any way she can.

Edwards Jody

Jody Edwards, Client Services Manager

Home Instead is personal to me for a number of reasons. First and foremost being my experience over the last few years relying on home health care providers to help us manage the care of two elderly family members. I understand, from the customer perspective, the questions, concerns, challenges and needs of our clients at every stage. Be it assisted living, homebound care or hospice, I experienced it all prior to working in this industry. When faced with the recent challenge of taking my career in a different direction, I was thrilled to be offered a position with such a compassionate company. I’ve always taken pride in my work in the past but working for Home Instead gives me something beyond simple pride. Being involved with and working toward a better quality of life for our important and loved senior community is meaningful work and rewarding beyond a paycheck. It doesn’t get much more personal than that.”

Jody is our Client Services Manager and has been with Home Instead since 2018.  Jody manages both our Client Care team and our Staffing team.  Jody represents Home Instead with great professionalism and compassion and works hard every day to ensure we are taking great care of our clients and caregivers.  Jody lives with her husband in Union, has two children, and one grandchild.

Craddock Katelin

Katelin Craddock, Service Coordinator

"Home Instead is personal to me because I love being part of a team that works very hard to keep the elderly at home. I take pride and passion in knowing that because of me, seniors can stay home a little longer in the comfort of their own home! I want to give the family peace of mind knowing we are putting skilled Caregivers with their family. Our Grandparents help make Holidays the special time that they are. Being a part of the team that allows them to stay home a little longer brings me hope that maybe they can have Grandpa’s famous ham at Christmas or Grandma’s mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving."

Katelin has been a Service Coordinator for Home Instead since 2019.  Katelin takes pride in helping people through life or just encouraging them to keep pushing on.  She loves her current role as Service Coordinator.  She can help people on a daily basis, whether it be helping the family get a caregiver that they love or be that listening ear when the caregiver or family needs to talk. Katelin lives with her husband and 3 children in Owensboro.

Shelley Welch, Home Care Consultant

Shelley Welch, Home Care Consultant

"Home Instead is personal to me because I have had the privilege of serving and loving seniors for over 20 years. I have sat across many tables from family members who were distraught, worried, anxious, and even frustrated over the aging process and the effects it was having on their loved one. I love being able to help them problem solve and come up with care solutions to ensure their aging relative is safe, protected and well taken care of."

Shelley has experience in the development and management of Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities. She knows how important it is to provide companionship and care for the aging senior population. Shelley serves as the Home Care Consultant for Home Instead. Her role is to partner with individuals, families, facilities, and health care entities to share how Home Instead can be an essential resource when looking for care solutions for seniors.

Prindle Jason

Jason Prindle, Recruitment Coordinator

"Home Instead is personal to me because I love my NKY community and the Seniors who helped build it! I have spent most of my life here in NKY with my family and I want to give back to those who helped to make it wonderful. When it came toward the end of my grandparents’ lives, with the assistance of Caregivers they were able to be comfortable, happy and stay in their own home."

Jason lives in Independence with his wife Dr. Kelly Prindle D.O. and their 2 daughters. He grew up at St Paul’s Church in Florence, graduated from Boone County High School, and attended NKU for college. His father was the Boone County Jailer for 17 years, and his grandfather was on Florence city council. His grandmother grew up on a dairy farm on the land that is now Thomas Moore College. He watched them age and was able to benefit from all their hard work. He spent 20 years serving Seniors on the pharmacy side of things before finding his calling as a Recruiter for Home Instead.

Schuermann Jordan

Jordan Schuermann, Office Therapy Dog

Home Instead is personal to me because I love to make seniors happy!"
